JACKSON – Four suspects were arrested in connection with a Saturday night burglary.

Travis Pollak, 30, Hayden Pollak, 23, and Richard Schlereth, 30, all of Jackson, were charged with second-degree burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

Jesse Pollak, 28 of Jackson, was charged with second-degree burglary, theft, criminal mischief, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.

All four were lodged at Ocean County Jail.

Police responded to a Paul Road residence for a reported burglary at 2:46 a.m. Jan. 26. The front door was damaged from an attempted forced entry. Several security cameras and a motion sensor light had been removed, and a video monitor stolen from a shed.

Police said security cameras showed the men coming onto the property. One male was shown carrying a handgun, and another a large landscape rock. They approached the front door and banged on it. Upon seeing a video camera, the one male reached up to it, and the video ended.

The suspects were recorded on another camera entering the shed and removing the video monitor. Several surveillance cameras were damaged by the men.

Officers were able to identify the four men based on the footage. They recovered the stolen property and determined the handgun was a BB gun.

Police are still investigating, and said additional complaints may be pending.
