Valentine’s Day Thieves Arrested

  HOWELL – The couple who spent their Valentine’s Day breaking into cars and stealing have now been arrested.

  The Howell Police Department arrested 35-year-old Jomaira Rios and she was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and theft by acting as a look-out for her boyfriend. Rios turned herself in after Howell detectives contacted her. She was released on criminal summonses.

  Detectives followed 26-year-old Jose Lopez-Perez and found him at a Dunkin Donuts in Freehold. He was arrested and charged with multiple counts of attempted burglary, burglary and theft. He is currently lodged at Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
