Police Search For Missing Teenage Runaways

UPDATE: Both teens have been found safe! 

FREEHOLD – Freehold Township Police are requesting the public’s help in locating two teenage runaways.

Police continue to search for Kayla Destefano, 16, and Jocelyn Zaveckas, 15, who reportedly left from a residence on Jackson Mills Road at about 8:50 p.m. on August 15. The girls were headed south towards Chandler Road, officials stated.

Police stated that Destefano is a 5’2″ white female, 139 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a scar on her left arm. Zaveckas is 5’1″ white female, 148 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and a scar on her left elbow.
