HOWELL – Two people were injured in a crash that overturned the vehicle into Tarkiln Brook on Route 547 on June 23, according to the Howell Township Police Department.
The two passengers managed to escape the vehicle with minor injuries following the crash. The vehicle reportedly collided with the guardrail and then rolled over into the brook. Both passengers climbed out of the vehicle, sustaining minor injuries.
Route 547 near Oak Glen Road was closed for a period of time while the vehicle was retrieved from the water by crane.
Howell Police, Howell EMS, Ramtown and Southard fire companies and Certified Auto Mall, assisted at the scene.
