One Dead In Motorcycle Crash

HOWELL – One person is dead following an accident involving a motorcycle and sedan, according to authorities.

Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Spokesman Christopher Swendeman confirmed the Saturday night crash near the Howell Commons Shopping Center on Route 9 but the identity of the victim was not released 

According to authorities, the Honda Clarity was pulling out of an exit near Panera Bread when it collided with the Honda Grom motorcycle shortly before 8:30 p.m. 

The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and suffered serious injuries and was pronounced at the scene. 

The driver of the car was not injured.
