BRICK – A three alarm fire destroyed a home this afternoon at 31 Bay Way and a firefighter sustained a minor injury.

The fire began around 3:30 p.m. and Emergency Responders quickly responded to a call of a house fire at the Bay Harbor section of Brick.

They observed heavy smoke and fire upon their arrival. They had to fight the fire in strong wind conditions which helped the fire to spread rapidly.
