Police Probe Condo Complex Shooting, One Injured

BRICK – Township Police are investigating the shooting of an 18-year-old man at 11p.m. Saturday night in the Briar Mills Drive development.

Officers responded to the condo complex for a report of multiple shots fired and upon their arrival discovered the victim, Jaquill Johnson who sustained a single gunshot wound to his right leg.

Johnson was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center for treatment. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

There were no other injuries reported. No arrests have been made at this time, and the weapon was not recovered.

A coordinated investigation involving the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office and the Brick Police Department is continuing.
