BRICK – State Police confirmed that no one was injured during a boat fire on Sunday afternoon.
The State Police Marine Services Bureau told reporters that two people were on the boat when it caught fire, but both got off safely.
The incident was reported just after noon, south of the Mantoloking Bridge.
The vessel, a 37-foot fishing boat, was totally destroyed.
Multiple units responded to the fire, including Marine Police, Brick and Manasquan fire departments, Brick police, and the Coast Guard.
