Police Arrest Two At Motel With Heroin, Crack

  BRICK – The Brick Township Police Street Crimes Unit arrested two people on drug charges at the Brick Motor Inn on Route 70 on February 4.

  George Murray Sr., 53, of Brick, was charged with possession of heroin and crack, possession of heroin and crack with the intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia, failure to turn a controlled dangerous substance over to police, and obstruction of justice. Christoph J. Polperio, 41, of Toms River, was charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia, as well as traffic summonses.

  Police had investigated a suspicious vehicle and found 350 wax folds of heroin, paraphernalia, and approximately four grams of crack cocaine.

  Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law.
