Numerous Drugs Seized After Police Search Home

  BRICK – After a three-month long investigation, police arrested two suspects for possessing multiple drugs, according the Brick Township Police Department.

  On February 23, the Street Crimes Unit Detectives performed a “Knock and Announce” search warrant at the Maple Leaf Park Complex, on Sawmill Road in Brick. After searching the residence, police found approximately 30 grams of cocaine and 26 grams of crack. Police also found an undisclosed amount of US currency, which was believed to be proceeds of the illegal activity.

  David Gonzalez, 32-years-old from Brick, and Joshua Gonzalez, 31-years-old from East Windsor, were arrested and lodged in Ocean County Jail.

  David was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and crack, possession of cocaine and crack, possession of paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. Joshua was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and crack, possession of cocaine and crack, and possession of paraphernalia.
