Motorcyclist Dies In Collision With Construction Vehicle

  NEPTUNE – A man from Brick was the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident on Route 33 on Monday, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

  Martin Alvarez, 29, was traveling west on Route 33 on a Kawasaki ZX-6 motorcycle when he collided with a construction vehicle that was pulling out onto Route 33 eastbound. The accident occurred at approximately 8:50 a.m. Alvarez was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:03 a.m.

  The driver of the construction vehicle, 32-year old Flores Pajrol, was uninjured in the collision.

  An investigation is being conducted by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Neptune Township Police Department and the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART).
