Man Charged With Selling Vaping Products To Underage Customers

POINT PLEASANT – A borough man was arrested for allegedly selling vaping products to underage customers.

Point Pleasant Police charged Hitulkuma Patel, 38, with selling an electronic smoking device to a person under the age of 21, which is a petty disorderly person offense. He was arrested by Det. Chris Phillips.

Police had received information that an employee at the Stop and Go Convenience Store on Bridge Avenue was selling vape smoking devices to underage persons.

Patel was released on a special form of complaint summons pending court.
