BRICK — A motor vehicle accident on Mantoloking Road has shut down the road in the area of Old Hooper Avenue, according to township police.
Brick Township Police Sargent Jim Kelly said one person suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The road is closed eastbound at the intersection and police said a small diesel spill occurred and is being cleaned up.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area for the next few hours.
