Eight Ocean County Residents Arrested In Drug Bust Near School

BERKELEY – Police arrested eight individuals from Berkeley, Toms River and Barnegat on drug charges following an investigation into illegal activity at a Bayville residence.

Throughout the month of December, Berkeley Police received numerous complaints about possible drug distribution from a Chain Blvd residence in the Bayville section of the township. Police launched an immediate investigation to address these concerns. 

On December 19, police executed a search warrant at the residence and discovered several different types of narcotics inside, some of which were packaged for resale. These included heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia indicative of the sale and use of narcotics. 

Police arrested and charged the following: 

Allen Hill, 31, of Chain Blvd in Bayville charged with, Possession of Marijauna , possession of Heroin,  possession of Heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of Heroin with the intent to distribute within 500 ft of a school, possession of counterfeit money and possession of hypodermic needles. Hill was remanded to the Ocean County Jail.

Michael Masi, 37, from Chain Blvd in Bayville charged with Possession of a weapon (brass knuckles) Possession of Marijuana and possession of a hypodermic needle. Masi was remanded to the Ocean County Jail.

Tara Grande, 38, from Toms River charged possession of Heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of CDS paraphernalia. Grande was released on a summons. 

Sylwia Kalinowski, 34, of Chain Blvd charged with possession of Marijuana, possession of hypodermic syringe and possession of a weapon (brass knuckles). Kalinowski was released on a summons. 

Michael Centofanti, 33, of Beachwood , charged with possession of heroin and possession CDS paraphernalia. Remanded to the Ocean County Jail.

Philip Donofrio Jr., 35, of Toms River, arrested on the strength of a no bail warrant out of Monmouth County for failure to appear on a weapons charge. Transferred to Monmouth County. 

Amy Ferraro, 46, of Chain Blvd, arrested on the strength of a warrant out of Egg Harbor Township for shoplifting. Transferred to the Egg Harbor Police Department.

Maryann Garcia, 39, of Barnegat, charged with possession of Heroin, possession of CDS paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe. Released on a summons.
