LAKEWOOD — Police continue to investigate an incident from Sunday, where shots were allegedly fired into a small crowd that night at a parking lot by Martin Luther King Drive and Cedar Bridge Avenue.

Lakewood Township Police said a vehicle–an older model, possibly maroon-colored—pulled into a parking lot and someone inside it fired several shots into the crowd.

Police reported that they found some shell casings in the area, and that no one was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lakewood Police Department at 732-363-0200.
