BRICK – A major gas leak is causing an interruption in gas service to a neighborhood in the township.
Brick Township Police issued an alert to the media that residents who live around Cherry Quay Road may not see service restored until Friday morning.
The gas leak was reported in the West Osborne neighborhood and crews remain at the scene.
Police also urge residents to avoid the area during the cleanup.
