Drug Busts In Brick Lead To Arrests, One Man Had Genitals Exposed

BRICK – The Street Crimes Unit and the Brick Township Police Department have made a total of three arrests in which all subjects possessed controlled dangerous substances.

  K-9 officer Scott Smith and his K-9 partner Echo stopped a vehicle that was committing several violations. After K-9 Echo sniffed out the car, it was found that there was evidence of narcotics. 34-year-old Jeanette Taylor and 24-year-old Malique Medler, who was the passenger, were both found possessing of approximately four grams of crack cocaine and marijuana.

  Taylor was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Maintain Lane, CDS in Motor Vehicle and having an Open Container of Alcohol. Taylor was processed and released on a summons. 

  Medler was charged with Possession of Crack Cocaine, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Medler was also found to have a no bail warrant out of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office. Medler was transported to and lodged in the Ocean County Jail.

  The following day, the Street Crimes Unit operated another check on the Pleasure Zone Adult bookstore located at 235 Chambers Bridge Rd. They discovered a male in the parking lot leave his car with his genitals exposed. The man then began to urinate and afterwards still exposed his genitals.

  While being confronted by officers, 42-year-old Omar Aragon Mendoza tried to dispose the substances he maintained. He was then taken into custody and charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Lewdness.

Mendoza was released on a summons.
