Driver Extricated In Brick Crash

BRICK – Two vehicles collided near the Dorado Plaza on Lanes Mill Road, causing a driver to be extricated, police said.

The crash happened at about 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 20. Police said Gregory Grover, 45, of Brick, was driving his Range Rover north on Lanes Mill Road, approaching the intersection with Stephan Road and the Dorado Plaza. Meanwhile, Troy Garrett, 50, of Brick, was driving his Ford Taurus south on Lanes Mill and pulled into the left turn only lane to turn into the plaza. He turned left in front of the Range Rover, causing the vehicles to collide.

Garrett needed to be extricated by the Herbertsville Fire Company. He suffered a fractured leg, police said. Grover also had a leg injury. Both were treated at the scene and transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Brick’s police and Emergency Medical Services, along with MONOC Paramedics, responded to the scene.
