BRICK – A 42-year-old Brick Township man has been charged after investigators allegedly found a video containing child sexual abuse material on his cellphone, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

Prosecutors said the charge against Marc Fay followed an investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Squad and the Brick Township Police Department Detective Bureau. A forensic examination of Fay’s phone reportedly revealed the illegal content, leading to the charge on October 16.

Fay later surrendered to Brick Township Police Headquarters and was taken to the Ocean County Jail, where he remains pending a detention hearing.

Billhimer praised the collaborative work of the High Tech Crime Squad and Brick detectives for their efforts in the case.
