$1 Million Dollar Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Ocean County

OCEAN COUNTY – Although the big billion dollar Mega Millions Jackpot ticket was purchased in Michigan, someone in Ocean County is extremely lucky as they won the second-tier prize for $1 Million Dollars.

According to New Jersey Lottery officials, the million dollar prize sold for the January 22 drawing was purchased at the 7-Eleven on Route 88 in Brick Township. The winner matched five of the white balls drawn. So far, the winner has not come forward.

In addition, there were ten third-tier prize winning tickets sold that matched four of the five white balls and the gold ball winning $10,000. One of those were purchased at the Little Silver Family Pharmacy in Little Silver.

The winning numbers for the January 22, drawing were: 04, 26, 42, 50, and 60. The Gold Mega Ball was 24, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.

Lottery officials confirm the jackpot resets to $20 million for the next drawing on Tuesday, January 26, at 11:00 p.m.

All New Jersey Lottery Mega Millions tickets must be purchased before 10:45 pm to participate in the drawing.
