SOUTH TOMS RIVER – SUEZ fire hydrant flushing crews will be in the South Toms River area from Wednesday, February 26 through approximately Wednesday, March 11, 2020, weather permitting.

Crews will work during the work week from about 8 AM to 4 PM. There will be no weekend flushing.

Customers have been notified via auto call and can also view the areas to be flushed on the SUEZ web site outage map (mysuezwater.com).

Please note that crews will work from Toms River Park area east to Herflicker Boulevard/Crabbe Road and west to Cornell Road and the South Toms River area bordering Beachwood.

SUEZ reminds its customers that the flushing process removes harmless minerals that collect in the water mains and as a result, residents may notice a temporary drop in water pressure or the water may appear cloudy.

While the water is safe, customers may prefer to wait until the water runs clear before drinking or washing clothes or dishes. Running the cold water from the lowest point in the house or business for several minutes typically clears the lines.

SUEZ apologizes for any inconvenience during the project.
