BEACHWOOD – Borough police are investigating an accidental firearm discharge that left one person injured at a local gun shop.
According to Beachwood Police, officers were called to Freedom Firearms Unlimited at 1800 Double Trouble Road around 11:11 a.m. on October 25 after reports of a gunshot wound.
Responding officers found a victim suffering from a wrist injury. The person was taken for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
Investigators said the preliminary findings indicate the shooting was accidental.
Police emphasized there is no danger to the public, and the investigation remains active at the scene.
