Ocean County Man Charged With Possession Of Child Pornography

  BEACHWOOD – A local man was arrested and charged with having child pornography following an investigation into “alleged acts of sexual misconduct.”

  Robert Naumann, 37, of Beachwood, was arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography, First Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan, Jr. said.

  On May 8, police used a search warrant to search his home and vehicle. They seized electronic devices and found approximately 300 images of child pornography, police said. He surrendered to police and was released pending a future court date with the condition that he have no contact with minors or access to the internet.

  First Assistant Prosecutor Nolan thanked the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crime Unit, Beachwood Police Department Detective Bureau, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit.

  It was not revealed what the alleged sexual misconduct was. Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law.
