BERKELEY – A local man has been hospitalized after his boat ran aground at Island Beach State Park recently.
According to earlier reports, emergency personnel came to his aid after the man’s sailboat washed ashore.
The boater has not yet been identified and his condition is still unknown. Few details have been released about the incident. According to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, it is not clear how or when the boat washed up on to the sand.
