BERKELEY – Police continue to investigate a two-car crash that entrapped and hospitalized both drivers on Sunday, Dec. 16.
At approximately 2 p.m., police responded to Dover Road and Pinewald-Keswick Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. The crash occurred when a vehicle traveling westbound collided with a vehicle traveling eastbound that was trying to make a left onto Dover Road, police stated.
Both drivers sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Community Medical Center.
“Extrication was not needed. Traffic was slowed in the area while the crash was investigated. Both Vehicles were towed from the scene,” police stated in a Facebook post.
The Pinewald Pioneer Fire Company and Berkeley EMS and Bayville First Aid responded to the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
