BEACHWOOD – Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the perpetrators responsible for slashing tires on approximately 30 vehicles on the night of May 16.

Chief Robert Tapp said that the police have acquired video from a home surveillance system showing three suspects, but would like to have more information to make an arrest.

He urged residents with surveillance videos to check their footage.

Anyone with information can report it anonymously to police via the “crime tips” link on BeachwoodPolice.com. This will send an email to the police department, deleting any identifying information about the sender. They can also call the station at 732-341-1249.

Councilman William Cairns, a retired police chief, added that residents should provide any footage to police rather than posting it on social media.
