OCEAN TOWNSHIP – Authorities have released the name of the man who died in fatal crash involving an Ocean Township police vehicle.
Guyvenson Innocent, 35, of Beachwood, was operating a motorized scooter at the time of the crash, which was around 9:08 p.m. April 15 on Route 35 South, near Sunset Avenue.
According to authorities, on-duty Ocean Township Police Officer Ryan Deceglie and multiple civilian cars were involved in the crash.
Innocent was pronounced deceased on scene. The involved officer and other drivers did not sustain injuries, officials said.
