LAKEWOOD – A social media post is making the rounds, showing a young child nearly hit by a school bus last week.
The bus, from Talmud Torah Toras Yisroel School, dropped off a student at an unknown address Feb. 14 at 4:17 p.m.
The video shows the bus did not activate its flashing red stop lights or safety arm. Both are required by law. As the boy attempts to cross the street, the bus starts to move but then stops.
Lakewood Police and the school are investigating.
