JACKSON — Firefighters responded to a reported structure fire on Reed Road in the Cassville section of Jackson Township, where a camper trailer was found engulfed in flames.
According to fire officials, crews including a ladder truck, tanker and chief arrived shortly after 10 a.m. on April 9 and discovered the burning camper posed a threat to a nearby trailer and several vehicles.
Firefighters worked to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading. Units from Millstone Township assisted at the scene, helping with fire suppression and overhaul operations.
No injuries were reported. The incident commander later released assisting units after the fire was brought under control.
The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
