JERSEY SHORE – Dogs and cats like these are waiting for their forever home.
Jesse is at the Jersey Shore Animal Center in Brick.
She came to the area from the Newark Animal Shelter, and she’s been looking for her home in New Jersey for almost a full year now. She’s two years old and prefers being the only pet at home, but she loves to play.

“Jesse has been waiting several months with no applications. That’s nearly a year of being overlooked. She’s 2 years old, stunning, and loves chasing wand toys and laser lights. Jesse enjoys both independent and interactive play – but she needs to be the only pet, and she’s not into being picked up.
“She came from an overcrowded Newark shelter. We hoped a fresh start would help… but she’s still here, watching other cats go home. Some cats, like Jesse, aren’t the easiest to place – but they need us the most.”

Flint is at Calling All Cats in Jackson.
Flint is just 5 months old and full of curiosity. He’s very friendly and loves to cuddle, explore, and nap. He’s good with other cats.
“Flint is a 5 month-old kitten who’s full of curiosity and love. He’s friendly, cuddly, and always purring! With his adorable white paws and the cute white patch on his face and chest, he’s as charming as he is sweet. Flint loves exploring, playing, and snuggling up for naps – he’s the perfect little companion in the making. He adores other cats. His siblings Steel & Sterling were adopted and now it’s Flint’s turn for a forever home.”

Calling All Cats is a cat rescue group made up of volunteers, some of whom work at a spay and neuter clinic. People would drop off unwanted cats. As a group, they save the babies that are left alone, the countless mothers that have had numerous litters and those that are losing or have lost their home.
To help humanely lower the feline population, they spay and neuter feral cats and then find homes for the friendly adults and the offspring that have been born. The rescue works extremely hard to find the best homes for cats of all shapes, sizes, colors and ages. While these cats wait, they are cared for in safe, loving, and nurturing foster homes

She’s a newer addition with her sister, Periwinkle, and were surrendered to the shelter after their previous family could no longer care for them. She’s recently spayed and in search of a new home. She loves her treats and playing.
“I am a gorgeous grey colored lionhead breed of rabbit and I love to run and play. I have received a 10 from my foster mom on the height of my binkies. For those who may not know binkies are, when a bun is happy and running and playing and they jump in the air with some rabbits receiving quite some airtime.”

The MCSPCA only does adoptions in person (please bring all family members). They will ask you to fill out an Adoption Survey and speak with an Adoption Counselor to help find your perfect match.
