Two Vehicles Stolen In Toms River, Police Issue Warning

TOMS RIVER – Township Police are reminding everyone to lock your homes and vehicles after two vehicles were stolen from the Tallymawr Estates section of the community.

Police said at approximately 5:04 AM in January 6, police were dispatched to Brentwood Avenue, Tallymawr, for a reported motor vehicle theft.

The homeowner stated that his 2017 Range Rover Sport was stolen from his driveway. After reviewing Ring camera footage, the homeowner discovered that three unknown male suspects, wearing masks and gloves, made entry into his residence at 2:45 AM through an unlocked front door, and retrieved the vehicle key.

At approximately 8:30 AM, police were dispatched to Benjamin Street, Tallymawr, for a reported motor vehicle theft. The owner stated that his unlocked 2022 Audi RS7 had been stolen at approximately 2:30 AM. There were no signs any entry was made to the home, and nothing else was reported damaged or stolen.

Police are reminding the public to check your home and vehicle doors regularly. If you are a victim, please immediately notify authorities and do not attempt to engage the suspects.
