TOMS RIVER – Police are urging drivers to use caution or another route because a crash has closed a portion of Hooper Avenue between Indian Hill Road and Fischer Boulevard.
A crash brought down a pole, causing power outages at traffic signals, police said. Therefore, they are asking drivers to avoid the area if they can and to drive extra safely if they cannot.
Meanwhile another crash with injuries is slowing down traffic in downtown Toms River. The crash took place near the intersection of Main Street (Route 9) and Dayton Avenue.
Details on the crashes have not been released at this time.
