Toms River Teen Hit With Drug Charges

OCEAN TOWNSHIP — Ocean Township Police arrested a 17-year-old Toms River boy and charged with him numerous drug offenses Friday.

The boy was charged with possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering, among other charges, Ocean Township Police reported.

Police officers reportedly caught the boy in mid-transaction at Seaview Square Mall. They stopped his vehicle and found narcotics in it.

A 17-year-old passenger was taken into custody and released to a parent, pending a future appearance in family court.
