TOMS RIVER – The Toms River South Choir recently participated in the Toms River Township 250th Anniversary Town Hall Christmas Tree Decorating event.

After speeches by Toms River Mayor Thomas Kelaher and Superintendent of Schools David Healy, the choir sang a medley of holiday music including classics such as “Jingle Bells”, “Frosty the Snowman”, “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer”, and “Carol of the Bells”.

This was followed by the Washington Street Elementary School Chorus and the decorating of the tree inside Town Hall by the Washington Street students. Refreshments were served and a special touch was added with a surprise “Visit from Santa.”
