TOMS RIVER – The bridge on the way back from Seaside Heights will have two lanes closed for repairs, officials said.
The two right lanes on the Tunney Bridge, heading west, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 13, through Thursday, June 23, the New Jersey Department of Transportation stated. The times and dates of the construction is pending weather.
Eastbound traffic will not be impacted.
NJDOT’s contractor, PKF-Mark III, Inc., will be performing “priority deck repairs” as part of a $9.6 million statewide Drawbridge Preventative Maintenance Contract.
There will be signs letting drivers know about the closed lanes, the DOT said.
