TOMS RIVER – A police cruiser responding to an emergency was involved in a crash last night, said police spokesperson Jillian Messina.
The incident remains under investigation. At this time, it is known that the cruiser was struck on its side by another vehicle at the intersection of Fischer Boulevard and Route 37. It is unknown if there were any injuries.
