TOMS RIVER – Join Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc. (OHI) for the JBJ Soul Kitchen Community Fair on June 2, 12-3 p.m. This free community event will be held in the parking lot at the Toms River Soul Kitchen, 1769 Hooper Ave., rain or shine!
Come out for some tasty, healthy food prepared by the JBJ Soul Kitchen. There will be activities children, information on local community services and programs for both adults and children, and free medical and dental screenings on OHI’s Mobile Medical Unit.
The OHI mobile medical unit (MMU) brings medical and dental services to people who might not have the transportation. You can take advantage of OHI’s comprehensive dental services at its Lakewood, Little Egg Harbor or Toms River health center locations.
The JBJ Soul Kitchen, a nonprofit community restaurant, is run by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation. Anyone can come to the Kitchen for a meal. You can either donate $20 or volunteer your time in exchange for a dining certificate.
