TOMS RIVER ― Recently, Bradley Pulver, M.D., director of emergency medicine at Hackensack Meridian Health Ocean Medical Center addressed more than 300 local high school students about the dangers of drinking, drugging and driving at the Ocean County Health Department’s “3-D Drinking, Driving and Drugging, Always A Choice Never An Accident” event.

The annual event took at Center Court of the Ocean County Mall where elected officials, educators, law enforcement professionals counselors, prevention specialists and members of our military gathered to raise awareness of the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

In addition to Dr. Pulver’s keynote speech, team members of Ocean Medical Center and Jersey Shore University Medical Center displayed educational literature and talked to the students about services offered at the hospitals.
