OCEAN COUNTY — Sheriff Michael Mastronardy has sworn in Christopher Ambrosio of Waretown as the newest recruit in the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office, marking the next step in a path that began years earlier through the department’s youth leadership programs.

Ambrosio previously served as a public safety cadet with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Unit One and later held the role of national public safety cadet commander. Officials said his time in the cadet program helped develop his leadership skills and prepared him for a career in law enforcement.

Detective Farrell also participated in the official swearing-in ceremony, which recognized Ambrosio’s transition from cadet leadership to sworn recruit.

Sheriff’s officials congratulated Ambrosio on the milestone and expressed confidence in his future service with the department, wishing him continued success as he begins his law enforcement career.
