TOMS RIVER – A lottery ticket sold in Toms River is worth $874,115.
The ticket was sold at the ShopRite on Route 37 West, according to the New Jersey Lottery Commission. The ticket was for the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Thursday, January 14, drawing.
The winning numbers were: 06, 08, 13, 15, and 33 and the XTRA number was: 04.
Unfortunately, the total prize would have been $1,748,230, but a ticket sold in Newark had the same numbers and they have to split the prize.
Each retailer will receive $2,000 for selling the winning tickets.
