TOMS RIVER – NJ Sharing Network has announced the promotion of Brittany Visaggio, RN, BSN, CPTC, to Director of Clinical Services, a key leadership role advancing the organization’s mission of organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
In her new position, Visaggio will lead a multidisciplinary team of more than 40 professionals, including Clinical Managers and Clinical Donation Specialists, ensuring that all clinical operations uphold the highest standards of care and efficiency.
“Brittany brings both deep clinical knowledge and a compassionate, team-centered leadership style to her new role,” said Carolyn M. Welsh, President and CEO of NJ Sharing Network. “Her natural ability to lead with empathy, insight, and operational excellence has earned her the trust of our clinical teams and hospital partners alike.”
Visaggio joined NJ Sharing Network in 2017 after serving as a critical care and Cardiac Operating Room nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Inspired by witnessing the impact of organ donation firsthand, she began as a Clinical Donation Specialist and steadily advanced through roles including Triage Coordinator, CDS Manager, and Assistant Director.
“I was moved deeply by what I witnessed as a nurse during the donation process in the hospital,” Visaggio said. “It led me to pursue this path where I could play a more direct role in honoring donor heroes and saving lives.”
A graduate of Georgian Court University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Visaggio is a Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator. She lives in Toms River with her husband, Phil, her son Angelo, and her stepchildren Philip, Lilyana, and Noelle.
