TOMS RIVER – The Exit 82 Theater Company presents their summer production HAIR, playing July 29 through August 7.
“The message of this iconic production remains relevant as ever as it celebrates community, identity, politics, peace, and what it means to be a young person in a changing world,” stated Exit 82’s website.
HAIR will be preformed in the immersive setting of the Save Barnegat Bay EcoCenter located at 117 Haines Road in Toms River. The venue is a safe alternative to indoor theatre while the company continues to navigate the repercussions of a post-COVID world.
“Save Barnegat Bay EcoCenter is a place that stands for something, just like everything else about this show. It’s a reminder that there is a fight to save our natural world. This show is connecting so many causes and communities, and we are looking forward to this united experience,” Exit 82 Executive Director Billy Cardone said.
HAIR is playing July 29 through 31, and August 5 through 7 at 7 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, you will be notified by Exit 82. Rain dates are August 1 and 8 at 7 p.m.
