TOMS RIVER — Silverton Farms will host “A Day for the Bay,” a community celebration supporting Save Barnegat Bay, on November 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event invites families to enjoy local food, music, and fellowship while helping protect one of Ocean County’s most treasured natural resources. A $10 donation will be collected at the entrance, benefiting ongoing bay preservation efforts.
Visitors can browse local vendors, explore antique farm equipment, and take part in hands-on activities such as homemade apple cider and ice cream making. A name-your-price flea market will also be featured, with proceeds supporting environmental programs.
Organizers encourage attendees to bring a chair or blanket to relax and enjoy the day’s festivities.
