TOMS RIVER – The Central Ocean Rotary Club of Toms River recently awarded scholarships to six local high school seniors from the Toms River Regional Schools, Ocean County Vocational & Technical Schools and Donovan Catholic. The awards were presented at the annual scholarship luncheon on June 15. Students received awards of $1,000 to $1,500. Central Ocean Rotary Scholarship chair and science teacher from Toms River High School South Christine Girtain conducted the award ceremony.
