After a court-authorized vehicle search, police recovered a 9 mm hand gun, drugs, and additional stolen possessions. The victims were not all from Lavallette, but from other towns as well.

The three suspects were each charged with Possession of a Community Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Burglary, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. In addition, Antoine was charged with Possession of Marijuana under 50 grams, and the juvenile with Obstruction and Resisting Arrest.
