TOMS RIVER — The Arc, Ocean County Chapter marked its 70th anniversary with a record-breaking evening of fun and philanthropy during its 2nd Annual “Celebrate The Arc” Casino Night at the Atlantis Ballroom in Toms River.

More than 200 guests attended the sold-out event, which featured a cocktail reception, casino games, and a gift auction. The fundraiser brought in $65,000 to support The Arc’s programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

“We are very proud to provide a wide variety of services to better the lives of people with disabilities so they may have choices to meet their personal needs and aspirations,” said Laura Williams, Executive Director of The Arc, Ocean County Chapter. “We are grateful to be a part of such an inclusive community here in Ocean County.”

Founded in 1955, The Arc, Ocean County Chapter now serves more than 1,000 individuals through housing, job training and employment supports, recreation and wellness programs, and family and clinical services.
