WARETOWN – An Atlantic City woman has been arrested for possessing controlled dangerous substance after police found drugs in her vehicle.
Patrolman Kevin McKnight of the Ocean Township Police Department had conducted a motor vehicle stop investigation on Route 9. After investigation, McKnight discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, the suspect Holly Garcia, 33, of Atlantic City was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS, Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute, Possession of under 50 grams of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
It was later revealed that Garcia had an outstanding no bail warrant issued by the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department.
Charges are merely accusations until proven in a court of law.
