LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Police said a woman was assaulted while walking her dog near the clubhouse on Holly Lake Drive in the Holly Lake neighborhood.
The incident happened on Aug. 17 at around 11:30 a.m. She suffered multiple bruises but refused medical treatment.
Based on witnesses and evidence at the scene, a 16-year-old boy from Little Egg Harbor was arrested on Aug. 20. He was charged with simple assault. He was released to his parents pending a future court date.
