LACEY — A newly renovated Wendy’s restaurant has reopened its doors in Lanoka Harbor, bringing a modernized dining space and dozens of new jobs to the community.
Flynn Group LP, the largest Wendy’s franchisee in the United States, announced the completion of renovations at its location at 301 North Main Street. The updated restaurant officially began serving customers on Wednesday, December 3, and is expected to create about 45 new jobs in the local area.
An official grand reopening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, December 20. As part of the event, the first 100 customers in line when the restaurant opens at 10:30 a.m. will receive free Wendy’s for one year, company officials said. Winners will receive one free sandwich, salad or breakfast item per week for a year, with additional restrictions applying.
The 3,376-square-foot restaurant features Wendy’s full menu along with a refreshed interior design aimed at improving the guest experience. Renovations include brighter, open dining areas, expanded seating options and the addition of a Coca-Cola Freestyle beverage machine, allowing customers to customize their drinks.
“We’re excited to welcome the community back into a completely refreshed space,” said Jerrod Mitchell, vice president of marketing for Flynn Group. “The remodel enhances the overall experience while continuing to deliver the quality food and friendly service our guests expect.”
The Lanoka Harbor location is the newest renovated Wendy’s operated by Flynn Group in Ocean County. The company also owns and operates nearby Wendy’s restaurants in Manahawkin and Toms River.
