STAFFORD – Two local residents have been arrested and charged for stealing merchandise from the Manahawkin Target Tuesday evening, police said.
Around 7 p.m., 43-year-old Michael King and 45-year-old Danielle Stevens, both of Barnegat, were arrested for stealing about $267 worth of item from the Target located at 209 Stafford Park Boulevard.
Both were charged with Shoplifting and were subsequently released with a criminal complaint summons to appear in Ocean County Superior Court, police said.
All individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
